“Passed the House in 2025 and Senate committee in May 2026, the Clarity Act is now stalled. Will it reach the President’s desk and become law by December 31, 2026?”
This market will resolve based on whether legislation substantially equivalent to the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act of 2025 (H.R. 3633 or its successor with the same core provisions) is passed by both chambers of the United States Congress and signed into law by the President of the United States of America by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM UTC. The market resolves Yes if such legislation is officially passed by both the House and Senate and signed into law (or becomes law without signature) on or before the deadline. The market resolves No if the legislation is not enacted into law by this deadline (including failure in Congress, veto without override, or remaining pending). Only final enactment into law counts. Committee approvals, passage in one chamber, or amendments do not resolve the market. Reintroductions or successor bills with substantially the same core provisions (digital asset market structure, clarity for crypto, CFTC/SEC framework) will qualify. If no such legislation is signed into law by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM UTC, this market will resolve to No. Primary resolution sources, in order of priority: Congress.gov legislative tracker and White House records. Consensus of major credible outlets (Reuters, AP, Bloomberg, WSJ, Politico) will be used as supplement if needed. If the result cannot be reasonably determined, the market will be voided.
