Will Kimchi go to jail before the end of 2026?

This market concerns whether Kimchi (Clayton Kim / @kimchi1x ) will be placed under arrest or incarcerated in a jail, prison, or other correctional facility as a result of criminal charges or conviction between the launch of this market and the end of 2026.The market will resolve to “Yes” if, at any point after this market’s creation and before January 1, 2027, 00:00 UTC, Kimchi is arrested and taken into custody by law enforcement or is held in a jail, prison, detention center, or equivalent correctional facility in connection with criminal charges, an investigation, conviction, or sentence.The market will resolve to “No” if no such arrest or incarceration occurs between market creation and the deadline, or if there is insufficient credible evidence confirming that it occurred within that window by January 1, 2027, 00:00 UTC. Any developments, announcements, court filings, or other updates that take place after the cutoff do not count toward resolution. Events that occurred before this market was created also do not count.Formal arrest resulting in physical custody, or actual detention in a recognized correctional facility, will count. Charges filed without an arrest or custody, unexecuted warrants, summonses, citations, house arrest, electronic monitoring, probation, fines, community service, and purely civil matters will not. Detention in any jurisdiction qualifies if the criteria are otherwise met. Self-surrender that leads to custody also qualifies.Resolution will be based on official court records, government or law enforcement announcements, and reporting from major reputable news outlets. Social media posts or unverified claims alone are not sufficient. In the event of conflicting information, official court or law enforcement records take precedence.If the available sources are insufficient, unavailable, or too ambiguous to determine whether the criteria were met between market creation and the deadline, the market will resolve to “Void”.
