This market resolves to the listed chain whose project first officially announces a shutdown of its main network after market open. Open time is the creation timestamp on this market page, in UTC. The first chain to announce resolves Yes. All other listed chains resolve No. A shutdown announcement is an official statement that the project has decided to permanently stop block production, or to wind down or sunset the listed main network, and that directs users to withdraw, bridge out, or migrate assets. It counts when announced, even if shutdown is later. A later reversal or delay does not change the result. Does not count: A pause, outage, halt, security freeze, sequencer downtime, emergency mode, or best-effort mode. A statement that shutdown or deprecation is being considered, may happen, or is only an option. An upgrade, migration, rebrand, or merger that keeps the same chain ID and user balances (including a stack, prover, or data-availability change, an L1-to-L2 move, or joining an aggregation layer). Ending a testnet, legacy product, app, or token deployment while the listed main network keeps running. A third party ending support (bridge, RPC, infrastructure, exchange, or wallet). Unlisted chains. Abstract, Blast, and any announcement before market open are ignored. Only the named network counts: Scroll mainnet, 534352 Berachain mainnet, 80094 Zora Network, 7777777 Mode mainnet, 34443 Taiko Alethia mainnet, 167000 Manta Pacific mainnet, 169 Zircuit mainnet, 48900 Arbitrum Nova, 42170 zkSync Era mainnet, 324, including a new name for the same chain Polygon PoS mainnet, 137 Only official statements count, in order: A post from the project’s official X account, or its core developer’s official X account: Offchain Labs or the Arbitrum Foundation for Nova; Matter Labs or ZKsync for zkSync Era; Polygon Labs or the Polygon Foundation for Polygon. A post on the project’s official website, blog, docs, or governance forum. Time is the earliest UTC timestamp of the first qualifying official post. CoinDesk, The Block, Decrypt, or CryptoNews may confirm content or timing only if an official post was delayed, deleted, or incomplete, and only if they quote or link it. Founder or employee replies, unofficial statements, leaks, rumours, speculation, and falling TVL or activity do not qualify unless they repeat a decision already in an official post. Void if two or more listed chains announce in the same official post or with timestamps identical to the minute; if none announces a shutdown by 31 December 2027, 23:59 UTC; or if the official record cannot reasonably establish which chain announced first.
Will Zircuit be the next listed chain to officially announce a shutdown?
