“Abdul El-Sayed has emerged as the Democratic nominee in Michigan’s open Senate race after defeating Haley Stevens in the primary. The progressive former health director is facing Republican Mike Rogers in one of the most closely watched contests of the 2026 midterms. Will El-Sayed hold the seat for Democrats?”
The 2026 United States Senate election in Michigan is scheduled for November 3, 2026. This market pertains to the outcome of the 2026 midterm Michigan U.S. Senate election, inclusive of any run-offs. This market resolves according to the candidate who ultimately wins the election (including any runoff). ABDUL EL-SAYED resolves to Yes if Abdul El-Sayed is elected to the U.S. Senate from Michigan. Otherwise, it resolves to No. MIKE ROGERS resolves to Yes if Mike Rogers is elected to the U.S. Senate from Michigan. Otherwise, it resolves to No. These outcomes are mutually exclusive. Provided that a winner is formally determined, exactly one outcome will resolve to Yes and the other will resolve to No. If a named candidate is replaced as the nominee of their party prior to Election Day, the name in the contract will be updated and the market will resolve based on the replacement nominee. This market will resolve once the Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC have all called the race for the same candidate. If all three sources have not called the race for the same candidate, the market will resolve based on the official certification published by the State of Michigan. If, for any reason, the final result of the election is not known by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM UTC, this market will be voided and resolved equally across all outcomes. Any unresolved data issues or unforeseen circumstances will result in the market being voided and resolved equally across all outcomes.
